ISWest takes great pride in its state-of-the-art facilities. Providing industry-leading Internet Services requires us to maintain top-notch facilities that meet and exceed industry standards for power, environmental controls, fire suppression, reliability and redundancy.

Currently, ISWest is headquartered in a 10,000 square foot facility in Agoura Hills, California. The facility is home to a 5,000-square-foot data center that houses ISWest colocation customers in shared cabinets, dedicated half and full cabinets, and custom-built cages. Additionally, the facility is home to the ISWest Network Operations Center (NOC), the core of the ISWest network. The ISWest technical support, provisioning, sales and billing departments are also housed in the Agoura facility.

In mid 2006, ISWest broke ground on a second facility that will more than double the size of ISWest’s operation. The facility is slated to take over as our new corporate headquarters and will provide a brand new home to the majority of ISWest’s employees. This new facility is being built to include the latest in data center technology and design. The 6,000 foot data center will provide A/B power and dual network drops to each cabinet and cage, providing maximum redundancy to each customer. To combat increasing heat demands, the new data center will have over 264 tons of cooling and an optimized layout that keeps servers at a cool, even temperature. We expect this facility to be completely online and operational in the third quarter of 2007.

ISWest also maintains equipment and has space available in data centers in El Segundo and Burbank. Using four 1.2 gigabit fiber connections, we have created a full-mesh network that ties all of our locations together and guarantees redundant paths out of any single Point of Presence (POP) in our network. At our network’s edge, we are linked into 8 different upstream providers using an Intelligent Routing Technology.
