Job Description:
Provide assistance with Internet communications, including web browsing,
e-mail and connectivity problems.
Desired qualifications:
- Previous experience in tech support environment
- Good communications and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of UNIX, Linux, and Windows
2000
- Experience with troubleshooting Dial Up Networking,
Internet Explorer, Outlook Express and other common Internet applications
- Background with WAN Connections (DSL, T1, Colocation)
preferable
- Understanding of TCP/IP, networking and the ability
to troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity issues via the telephone
- Experience with DNS, Web hosting, and Domain Registration
beneficial
- Organized and efficient
