Specialties West, Inc. wins bid to build ISP for Goodwill Industries
of Orange County…
Westlake Village, CA August 24, 1998 – Internet Specialties
West, Inc. (ISWest) announced today that Goodwill Industries of Orange
County has chosen Internet Specialties West to build a more complex
and feature rich ISP for the subsidiary Kruzin Internet.
Goodwill Industries of Orange County, DBA Kruzin Internet Services,
is going Web Savvy by becoming an Internet Service Provider (ISP).
Goodwill states their ISP will be geared towards providing disabled
people the opportunity to achieve the highest level of personal and
economic growth.
Goodwill Industries did not acquire this technology over night. Actually
they recently announced that Internet Specialties West, Inc. (ISWest),
located in Westlake Village, CA, would be building their state-of-the-art
web servers. This long term working relationship ranges from a secure
on-line transaction server, FrontPage server, E-mail server, Firewall,
Web statistics, and more.
ISWest was chosen by Goodwill Industries based on its reputation in
the industry, including Internet infrastructure recently built for
two local governments – Agoura Hills City Hall and Westlake
Village City Hall.
