INTERNET SPECIALTIES WEST MERGES WITH COMPETING ISP – INFOSPEC OF THOUSAND OAKS…

Westlake Village, CA January 12, 2000 – Internet Specialties West, Inc., (ISWest) Los Angeles and Ventura’s leading Internet Service Provider, today announced its Merger with Infospec, (www.ispec.net), a local community based Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Southern California.

Following months of negotiation ISWest has signed a definitive merger agreement with Infospec, formerly known as "ADNETSOL" headquartered in Thousand Oaks, California. Both management teams agree that this merger can only result in a far superior service for their customers with respect to customer service, network speed and reliability. This merger will also reduce the overhead of Infospec by 40%, making smart financial sense for both companies.

This marks the forth such merger for ISWest since 1998. Management said it completed the merger for an undisclosed amount of Cash and Terms. "With yet another merger under our belt, this continues to show that ISWest is the leading ISP in Los Angeles and Ventura County," says Drew J. Kaplan, Vice President and Director of Sales and Marketing.

ISWest and Infospec’s management teams and support staff will be working around the clock to ensure that this transition is as seamless as possible. Each and every customer will be contacted prior to any changes being made to their service. A dedicated technical support rep will be assigned to that customer so that changes can be co-coordinated in such a way that there will be little or no disruption in service. If necessary a technician will be deployed to the customer’s site to assist in the transition.
