ISWest signs deal with Internap and expand its backbones to the ten top world providers.

Agoura Hills, California (October 2001) - ISWest, one of Southern California's largest and most successful Business-to-Business ISP's, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Internap Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ:INAP) Internap, the leading intelligent routing services provider, agreed to install the top ten backbone providers that carry 95% of the worlds Internet traffic into ISWest’s Facility.

ISWest currently operates a spectacular Data Center in Agoura Hills and Los Angeles, California offering Co-location and managed web hosting to businesses large and small. Prior to this deal with Internap, ISWest had two backbone providers, which gave the company redundancy of routing their Internet traffic. "In the event of a backbone provider having routing trouble, ISWest’s Cisco routers would simply reroute its customer’s traffic to our other provider," said Bob Johnson, chief technical officer for ISWest.
