ISWest partners with long-time long distance
company; creates One-Stop-Shopping for businesses
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – June, 2004
Agoura Hills, Calif. – Hoping to offer
a one-stop-shop for all business voice, data services, long distance
company ITS-Omnicom has teamed with neighboring Internet Service
Provider ISWest, the largest, award-winning ISP in Ventura County.
"We’re a locally-based company and
ISWest is a locally-based company; together there’s synergy
and leadership," said Sharon Woods, president of ITS-Omnicom
in Simi Valley, which has provided California businesses with long
distance products since 1990. "I like ISWest’s business
ethics – it’s a great partnership for both firms."
ISWest will be providing all its Internet Services
to ITS-Omnicom clients under a private label agreement, which will
allow ITS-Omnicom to essentially become an ISP overnight, said Drew
Kaplan, ISWest CEO.
"We are pleased that ITS-Omnicom has chosen
ISWest as their exclusive Internet provider," Kaplan said.
"Both ISWest and Omnicom have similar business models in that
we provide a very high level of customer service to our business
class clients."
ISWest is the exclusive Internet provider for
ITS-Omnicom’s Business Class services called OMINBAND, which
features OC3, DS3, T1 and DSL high speed Internet connectivity,
supported by web hosting, colocation services, email packages, Virtual
Private Networks, statistical website reporting, data storage, e-commerce
and other Internet services. In addition to providing quality service
and one contact for all telecommunication needs, clients also have
the ease of bill consolidation.
"Our service and quick response to our
customers’ needs gives us an advantage over the larger telephone
companies." Woods said. "Our Internet offering with the
Omniband products will continue to solidify our relationships with
our current and future customers."
The partnership allows ISWest to build brand
recognition and continue gaining market share with local business
customers, Kaplan added.
"ISWest already has a huge market share
in the Ventura county area and is the 1st largest ISP according
to the Pacific Coast Business Times 2003 list," he said.
About ISWest:
ISWest ranked on the 2003 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in North
America and the Los Angeles Technology Fast 50.
