Growing steadily since its founding in 1996, ISWest is listed as 14 among Greater San Fernando Valley-based companies ranked by revenue growth from 2007 to 2009. The company, which has had a 78 percent growth in revenue during the time period, was also listed as the eighth Fast-Growing Company in the $5 million to $10 million range with over $8 million in revenues. "We are finding that an increasing number of clients don't want to worry about the safety of their computer equipment, their uninterrupted power supply and their internet connection," says ISWest CEO and CTO Bob Johnson, whose clients include household names that are confidential. "Clients, who rely heavily on computers and the internet, outsource these tasks to ISWest, where their equipment is located in state-of-the-art facilities that have redundant power and connectivity." ISWest, which designed top-of-the-line voice and data facilities in the U.S. and abroad, built ISWest in a secure, nondescript building with an alternate power source, redundant power and internet connectivity into the building, high grade cooling mechanisms, elevated flooring for easy access to wires and cables, biometric entry into the facility, and premier fire suppressant equipment. ISWest dealt with a number of local, state and federal agencies when building the facility. ISWest's services include colocation, which houses equipment in environmentally controlled facilities with redundant power, bandwidth and security; internet connectivity with T1 and DSL lines; security including firewalls, VPN and content filtering; and managed services including VoIP, email, spam filtering and web hosting.
